Last updated: 22 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how NetAmplified ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit durbanwebdesigners.co.za (the "Website"), contact us, or use our web design services. We handle personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA").

1. Who we are

The responsible party for your personal information is:

  • Trading name: NetAmplified
  • Registered name and legal status: Netamplfified (Pty Ltd)
  • Registration number: 2023/503621/07
  • Physical address:
  • Telephone / WhatsApp: +27 68 968 3532
  • Email: hello@netamplified.com
  • Information Officer: Umile Bhengu (contact them at the email address above)

2. What personal information we collect

Information you give us

  • Enquiry form: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, a description of your business, and any message you choose to write. Your name and phone number are needed so we can reply. The rest is optional, but a shorter enquiry may mean we need to ask you more questions.
  • Calls, WhatsApp and email: your contact details and whatever you tell us in those conversations.
  • If you hire us: your business details, billing details, and the text, images, logos and other content you supply for your website.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Website, standard technical information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived (for example, by clicking one of our Google ads), and your approximate location.

3. Why we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes and communicate with you about your project.
  • To provide our services, invoice you and keep proper business and tax records (performing our agreement with you, and meeting legal obligations).
  • To understand how the Website and our advertising perform, to improve them, and to keep the Website secure and free of spam (our legitimate interests).
  • For any other purpose, only where you have given your consent.

We do not send unsolicited marketing messages. If we ever want to send you marketing, we will ask for your permission first, and you can withdraw it at any time.

4. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Website and our business, and only as far as needed for that purpose:

  • Web hosting and email providers: Domains (hosting) and Domains (email), which store the Website and deliver enquiry emails to us.
  • Google: we use Google Tag Manager to manage tags on the Website, and Google Ads to measure how our advertising performs. [Other tools running via Tag Manager]
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: a spam-protection check on our enquiry form. It may receive technical signals such as your IP address and browser details.
  • SociableKit: displays our Google reviews on the Website. Loading it connects your browser to SociableKit and Google servers, which may receive your IP address and browser details.
  • WhatsApp (Meta): if you tap a WhatsApp button, you leave the Website and your message is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy.
  • Accountants, banks and professional advisers: where needed to process payments, keep financial records or comply with the law.

We may also disclose personal information where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.

5. Transfers outside South Africa

Some of the providers above (such as Google and Cloudflare) process information on servers outside South Africa. Where this happens, we rely on providers that are bound by data protection obligations comparable to those in POPIA, or on your consent where the law requires it.

6. Cookies and tracking

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them, and similar technologies, to measure visits and advertising performance and to keep the Website working. Third parties such as Google may use cookies to show you ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.

7. How we protect your information

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from loss, damage, unauthorised access and misuse, including using a reputable host, spam protection on our forms, and restricting access to people who need it. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify the Information Regulator and the people affected, as POPIA requires.

8. How long we keep your information

  • Enquiries that do not become projects: kept for as long as needed to respond to you, and then for up to 12 months months before we delete or de-identify them.
  • Clients: kept while we work together and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example financial records, which tax legislation generally requires us to keep for five years.
  • Analytics and advertising data: kept for the periods set in the relevant tool.

9. Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

  • ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and to see it;
  • ask us to correct or delete personal information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or no longer needed;
  • object to us processing your personal information, and withdraw consent you have previously given (this does not affect processing done before you withdrew it);
  • complain to the Information Regulator if you believe we have interfered with the protection of your personal information.

To exercise these rights, email us at the address in section 1. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days.
